x402 Payments
Agents can pay the open web.
Agent request → 402 → Financial Intent → policy → payment → retry request → resource
POST /v1/x402/fetch retrieves a URL. If it is not paywalled, Paymod returns it directly. If it returns a supported x402 requirement, Paymod creates an X402_PAYMENT intent, evaluates policy and pays when allowed.
x402 is not a policy bypass. Immediate ALLOW settlement is implemented and verified against the facilitator. REQUIRE_APPROVAL is partial: it parks the intent and does not yet resume the original resource request after approval.
